. The hereby paper aims to highlight the importance of aesthetically valuable literary texts for learning a foreign language in general and for learning German as a foreign language in particular. From the point of view of cultural policy, the German literature from Romania plays an important role when referring to the study of German language. Taking into account the new strategies and modern techniques for literary texts, the paper also wants to offer some didactic models for the texts of the German authors from Romania.
