My paper interrogates the status of genre, a prominent concept, and analyzes its diverse and complex mechanisms of adaptation to the new cultural and discursive enviroments Genre is addressed a number of relevant questions, in order to find arguments for its antifragility, i.e. its adequacy and efficacy in relation with the present and emergent forms of fiction.
